December/Boxing Day | Haul

Saturday 28 December 2013

Happy holiday my lovely readers! I'm sorry I didn't say it earlier but Merry belated Christmas everyone, I hope you enjoyed the day with your family and loved ones like I did. I seriously can't believe that it came and gone in a blink of an eye and now we're just a few days away from the New Year.

During this period, I received some wonderful gifts from my family, friends and boyfriend. As much as I love my gifts, I wish they didn't spend money on me because they should be saving it for themselves! Nonetheless, I appreciate all of their hard efforts and hope they loved my presents as well. Let's get started guys!
Firstly is this Lancôme DreamTone Gift Set that my sister bought for me. I've been eyeing the DreamTone ever since it was released in Australia and have always walked to the counter, tested it, smelt it, thought about buying it but then walked out. It's a very expensive product and I couldn't jusitfy myself into buying it! But now that I have it, I cannot wait to try out this bad boy, hopefully it will work wonderful for my oily, sensitive skin!
My lovely bestie, Nhi from Miss Blushaholic bought my the Stila 'In The Light' Eyeshadow palette! Funnily enough, my boyfriend also gifted me the same palette haha, which unfortunately I have to go and exchange! But ever since I bought this palette for one of my girlfriends, I have been amazed by the colour selection and pigmentation of this palette and finally it's mine! Thank you so much, Nhi! Love you!
The second gift from my wonderful boyfriend is this Christmas Tree charm for my Pandora Bracelet. He doesn't actually read my blog that often so I'm surprised that he got me two items from my wishlist without even reading it! I'm so happy that I have this charm now because Christmas is my favourite time of the year. Thank you boyfriend!
Eeeek I also received this GlassHouse 'Tahaa' candle in the scent Vanilla Caramel from my boyfriend and Oh. My. God. I am so in love with this candle, it smells exactly like the name says and it's just overall a great, warm and sweet smelling candle to leave in a room. If you guys have ever walked into Peter Alexander, then this is the candle that they always burn and it's just so .. yummy and makes me wanna eat it. I wish we had Bath and Body Works here because I really want the candles but GlassHouse makes up for it :)

(Sorry that the photo is a little bit .. blah!)
So Priceline was having a 40% off Skincare sale (again!) during the Boxing Day sale and I was like 'Girl, I gotta get on that!'. In nearly 10-15 minutes, I did quite abit of damage to my bank account, but oh well! So I picked up a back up of the Simple 'Kind to Eyes' Makeup Remover which you guys have seen before in my Empties post (which you can read here), the St Ives Blemish Control 'Apricot Scrub' which is one of my holy grail products, the Bioderma Créaline H20 since it's been so raved around YouTube and the blogosphere which made me very interested in purchasing it, the Garnier 'Perfect Blur' Base which has recently hit the shelves at Priceline so I was really keen on trying this out, the Lady Speed Stick which is deodorant haha and last but not least, Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes, of course I had to pick up some back ups in case I run out and since they were on sale, why not right?
Last purchase for Boxing Day was this Elizabeth Arden 'Eight Hour Cream' package which contains a moisturiser, skin protectant and lip balm! I've heard great things about the moisturiser and wanted to try it out myself. I think it will be great to use at night time before going to bed to ensure that your skin stays hydrated throughout the night.

Well guys, that is the end of my haul! I hope you all enjoyed reading, I have one more final post before the New Year so keep an eye out! I hope you guys had a lovely Christmas! Comment down below your hauls or Tweet me @NHausOfMakeup!

    1. I tried it out yesterday during work, it made me look shiny unfortunately! But I think the product itself, using it as a primer is great :)

I especiallly love the candle you got! I'll have to find another alternative, I have carpet in my room so I can't burn candles haha.

    1. Aw no! I think an alternative could be the wall flowers from Bath and Body Works which you can purchase from ebay! It's like a little scented bottle that you plug into your wall and it makes your whole room smell amazingg. Try Frosted Cupcake!

And I'll be doing a review soon hopefully! And thank youu :))
