Sephora, MAC and Victoria Secret | Haul

Monday 11 November 2013

Hi everyone, long time no see! Welcome back to my blog :)
My cousin recently went to America and I gave him (yes him!) a list of beauty products to buy from Sephora and MAC since there are so many products that aren't available in Australia and at a cheaper price. My total order came to $170 which is pretty cheap in my opinion, if I was to buy it here in Australia, it would be double the price. I picked up:
  1. MAC Lipstick in 'Creme De Nude'
  2. MAC Lipstick in 'Faux'
  3. MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in 'Soft and Gentle'
  4. MAC Blush in 'Desert Rose'
  5. Beauty Blender
There were a few other items such as the Lorac Pro Palette and Shiseido Eyelash Curler but they've been out of stock for awhile since everyone is such a big fan of them!
MAC Lipstick in 'Creme De Nude' -
This is a beautiful creme sheen finish lipstick and described as the perfect nude. I don't usually suit nude lipstick because it washes me out but I was drawn to trying this lipstick because it's raved and raved on YouTube! I will hopefully let you guys know how this goes either through my blog or my Twitter! (Remember to follow me for daily updates)
MAC Lipstick in 'Faux' -
Another beautiful lipstick in a satin finish. It's a pinky mauve shade which kinda looks like a 'My Lips but Better', perfect for the cold Spring in Melbourne right now haha.
MAC Skin Finish in 'Soft and Gentle' -
Another raved about product amongst YouTube and bloggers and also by my cousin Vivian and I knew I had to get my hands on it. It's a very beautiful highlighter and the perfect shade for my skin tone!
MAC Blush in 'Desert Rose' -
A shade that is very different in my collection, its a deep pinkish berry shade and it's also a matte finish and very flattering on the face. I think a little will go a long way because it was very pigmented when I swatched it in stores. I can't wait to try it out.
Beauty Blender -
I was so so so excited to get this because it looked so good when YouTube Gurus applied foundation with it. It's so cute, small and pink and it makes me not want to use it because it's so eeeek!
(Sorry for the poor photo!)
Apart from buying makeup products, I also asked him to buy me fragrance mists from Victoria Secret since I knew that they don't ship them to Australia. I got five bottles for $35 which is usually the offer that they have on their website; I chose -
  • Love Spell: Cherry blossom and peach
  • Such A Flirt: Starfruit and white orchid
  • Sheer Love: White Cotton and pink lily
  • Midnight Glamour: Pink berry and fluffy vanilla
  • Midnight Exotics: Deep berry

Apart from the little haul from the US, I also got my hands on theBalm's "Balm Voyage' palette from David Jones! It comes with 16 different eyeshadows and 3 different lip/cheek colours. I will be doing a swatch post on this soon so keep your eyes peeled!

So that wraps up the end of my post, comment down below and tell me if you've tried any of these products!
