I made my first Colour Pop Cosmetics order a few months back with some of my lovely girl friends after looking at a gazillion swatches since their shade selections (especially lip products) are basically endless. After being pulled in by the cute packaging, amazing swatches and even better price tag, I ended up with 9 Lippie Stix and 3 blushes and as you can read from the title, today I'll be giving you my thoughts on the Colour Pop blushes and how their perform on my skin.

WELCOME BACK loves! It feels good to sit back and give you guys a review on a current foundation I've been wearing! I'm always on the hunt for the perfect foundation best suited to my skin type which is combination/oily. Previously you guys have seen how much I adore the L'Oreal True Match foundation but I think I've found a new love for L'Oreal's new line of foundation - Infallible 24H.

MY EVERYDAY MAKEUP ROUTINE // MAY 2015

Hello loves! Welcome back to Haus of Makeup and today we're going to be talking about the products that have made it into my Everyday Makeup Routine. I've switched up a few products in the past month (you can read my previous EMR here!) and I thought I would give you guys an update and also my thoughts on all the products used. It's Winter here in Melbourne and on most days I like to go for a simple yet glowy look since my skin becomes alittle more drier during this season but no fear, I'll be doing an updated skincare routine soon to let you guys in on how I keep my skin hydrated! WHERE HAVE I BEEN?

Hi guys! It's been a long time since my last post and I apologise for my lack of uploads. I've been super busy with my personal life, and in between that I had no motivation or inspiration to blog or even take photos. I know it's no excuse but starting next month, Haus of Makeup will be back and hoping to post 2-3 times a week! I've missed you all and missed blogging about the things that I love (and occasionally don't love, haha). Thank you for being patient with me, I can't wait to get back into it!

MAC Shy Girl, Please Me and Up The Amp Lipstick | Review and Swatches

Hello beauties, welcome back to my blog! If you follow me on Instagram (@ninashausofmakeup) then you would've seen that my wonderful sister, Jennifer, gifted me three gorgeous MAC lipsticks which I've had my eye on for awhile. If I had to recommend just one product or category from MAC, hands down it would be their lipsticks. My first high end purchase when I was around 15-16 was a MAC lipstick in the shade 'Lady Bug', a lovely classic red shade which I still own! Although it retails for $36AUD, it was well worth it because after all these years, here I am still purchasing MAC lipsticks and adding more and more shades into my never ending collection. I definitely think this was a .. I guess you could call it, 'turning point in my life' where I started to become interested in makeup and beauty. Anyways, enough rambling!

5 AMAZING Products I Can't Live Without | September 2014

We all have those certain products where if a crazy, makeup stealing robber was on the loose, we would desperately hope they won't take them or be interested in. Now surely we have more than just five beauty faves we can't live without but let's narrow it down as much as possible! I'm still undecided about my real, holy grail products but I think the selection of beauty products I have now will suffice, but maybe I will do an updated post in the future. But for now, I'll stop my rambling and jump straight into it.

Back to review a cult fave amongst the YouTube and Blogosphere and it's the famous NARS Creamy Radiant Concealer and I have mine in the shade Medium Custard which is great for girls who have an NC25 to NC30 skin tone. This retails at Mecca Maxima for $35AUD or you can find it on Kiss Makeup NY for $29AUD not including shipping. I've been on the hunt for a good undereye concealer, not only to brighten but to actually conceal my dark circles and also blemishes around my face. It's available in 10 shades, ranging from fair to medium to deep.

Collective Haul | July and August

Yes, I've done it again. I've gone out and punched a hole in my wallet but you know what? I'm loving everything that I've bought so far and thought it would be fun to share a little haul of all the products I've accumulated over the past two months. I'm pretty sure you all went a little crazy during Priceline's 50% off Maybelline sale and also Mecca Maxima's official price drop and of course I had to pick up a few items since I've had my eye on them for awhile!
