Hello loves! Welcome back to Haus of Makeup and today we're going to be talking about the products that have made it into my Everyday Makeup Routine. I've switched up a few products in the past month (you can read my previous EMR here!) and I thought I would give you guys an update and also my thoughts on all the products used. It's Winter here in Melbourne and on most days I like to go for a simple yet glowy look since my skin becomes alittle more drier during this season but no fear, I'll be doing an updated skincare routine soon to let you guys in on how I keep my skin hydrated! HELLO MY DARLINGS, welcome back to my blog. Another year has come and gone and here I am with another Best in Beauty post - sharing with you my favourite products that I enjoyed throughout the year a bit of love and why I love them. I ventured out of drugstore makeup and had a new found love for everything in Mecca Maxima which soon became my second home. I have bits and pieces ranging from drugstore to high end and I'm super excited so let's get straight into the base products!

MECCA MAXIMA HOLIDAY RELEASES?! | 2014

Hi guys, happy to see you back on my blog! Now today isn't a review, nor a haul, nor a swatch post .. it's something a little more special. Obviously from reading the title, you would already know what it's about but just for the hell of it, I'll tell you anyways. Mecca Maxima/Cosmetica have launched all holiday palettes, gift sets and new products on their website! Yes, I know, we all have to keep our cool but they're available to shop now via Mecca Maxima and will be released in stores on the 11th of November, so keep your eyes peeled for the new releases from various brands such as NARS, Smashbox, Glamglow, Hourglass and many more.

Throughout this post, I'll be showing you some of the most anticipated holiday sets along with my thoughts and their prices. So let's begin before I start rambling shall we?

Collective Haul | July and August

Yes, I've done it again. I've gone out and punched a hole in my wallet but you know what? I'm loving everything that I've bought so far and thought it would be fun to share a little haul of all the products I've accumulated over the past two months. I'm pretty sure you all went a little crazy during Priceline's 50% off Maybelline sale and also Mecca Maxima's official price drop and of course I had to pick up a few items since I've had my eye on them for awhile!

Kuala Lumpur and Singapore | Haul

Hi friends! I AM BACK FROM MALAYSIA AND SINGAPORE! It's good to be back to the blogging world, I've missed you guys! So I've recently come home from a two week vaykay with my one of my girl friends, Thip, and we bought SO much stuff I don't even know where to begin. Of course I have a massive beauty haul for you guys (and also some fashion pieces too!) I’m loving everything I bought on the trip and everything was well worth the price. Before leaving to Kuala Lumpur, I was researching on what to expect at Sephora in Starhill Gallery as that was my first pit stop! Many reviewers said it was small but decent enough to carry all the beloved brands such as Urban Decay, Tarte, Smashbox, Too Faced, NYX etc - and I think I agree with them. Although, I won’t go into any detail about the layout of the store now but if you have any questions, feel free to drop a comment below! Now let’s get into this exciting haul! 

Stila Stay All Day Eyeliner | Review

I've been really enjoying Stila's "In The Light" eyeshadow palette (read my review here) and since then I've jumped on the Stila bandwagon and picked up their Stay All Day Eyeliner in Black which is raved about on YouTube and the blogosphere. I bought this at the Mecca Maxima counter for $32AUD which is mind-blowing for such a small product! Haha. It comes in a range of colours, from black to pink to teal and all swatches of them look absolutely gorgeous, it makes me want to purchase more but my first impression of this eyeliner wasn't a great experience. But before we get into the formula, let's talk about their claims and also the exterior.

Cosmetics Haul | January 2014

Hi friends! It's already February, isn't that crazy? It felt like yesterday was just the New Year! Just wanted to start off by saying Happy Belated Chinese New Year to all of you. I hope you have a safe and prosperous year filled with love, happiness and new opportunities! Now for the fun part, first haul of the year!

I made an iHerb order on the 17th and received it on the 28th (longer than I expected but it's okay!) I picked up only four items that I've had my eye on and I thought, why not? I picked up the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge,  ELF Stipple Brush, ELF Blush in Candid Coral and Tickled Pink. Since it's the start of February, I've actually used some of these products already so I'll just give you guys a quick insight to how I'm liking them!

Stila 'In The Light' Palette | Swatch

This famous eyeshadow palette has been a favourite amongst many YouTube gurus and beauty bloggers and I'm happy to say that I have jumped on the bandwagon! My boyfriend and Nhi from Miss Blushaholic bought me the exact same palette for Christmas so I had to return one and exchange it to something else, but nonetheless, I love them both! Anyways, today I will be showing you some close up shots and also showing you swatches of the palette and of course, my thoughts on it.

December/Boxing Day | Haul

Happy holiday my lovely readers! I'm sorry I didn't say it earlier but Merry belated Christmas everyone, I hope you enjoyed the day with your family and loved ones like I did. I seriously can't believe that it came and gone in a blink of an eye and now we're just a few days away from the New Year.

During this period, I received some wonderful gifts from my family, friends and boyfriend. As much as I love my gifts, I wish they didn't spend money on me because they should be saving it for themselves! Nonetheless, I appreciate all of their hard efforts and hope they loved my presents as well. Let's get started guys!
