Lush Tea Tree Water | Review

Thursday, 31 October 2013

Hello beauties!
Lush is known for their creative and scented bath bombs, which was the reason why I kept coming back. But ever since I became more interested in cosmetics and skin care, I've been steering towards their amazing range of makeup/skincare products. From YouTube to the blogging world, I've heard amazing things about the Lush Tea Tree Water which is basically a toner but also contains ingredients that can help tackle blemishes. There are two sizes, 100g for $9.95 and 250g for $19.95. I purchased the 100g bottle to test it out to see how I liked it before I proceeded to buy the bigger bottle and I can honestly say that I really do love this product.

"Comes to the aid of skin that has emergencies. Tea tree is a wonder antibacterial, antiseptic and antimicrobial ingredient for anyone with oily or spot prone skin".
I've been using this for a number of weeks now and although I only see a small improvement to my skin, I feel as if my skin is really refreshed after spraying this only my face. I use this twice a day, once in the morning before applying makeup and also once at night after removing my makeup and washing my face. I think it lightens up my face, making it look more awake - not as if I just woke up! The instructions say that you can either spray this directly onto your face and then use a cotton pad to wipe it off or spray it onto a cotton pad and then apply it onto your face. I personally prefer to spray it on a cotton pad first (about 4-5 times) then apply it to my face. I feel like this is more effective in getting all the product on your face as opposed to just spraying it directly; not knowing if you're aiming at your face or your hair! Haha. They do have a slight antiseptic scent to it so  if you're not into that then I wouldn't recommend it but if you can handle for a few seconds then I say go ahead!

I would definitely recommend this product as it's quite handy to have just to refresh your skin in the morning and at night. It also removes dirt buildup on your face which is a total plus! If you guys are looking for a convenient toner that works well with oily skin, I say go for it!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, I will be posting more frequently now so keep your eyes peeled! Please feel free to follow and support me on my social media platforms which are located on the right hand side! xx

  1. This looks like such a lovely product! I usually only use their face masks, but maybe I'll pick this up next time I'm in the store!
