Foundation: I picked up the L'Oreal True Match foundation early or middle of last year and instantly fell in love with the application, pigmentation and staying power of this foundation. I would say it's medium coverage and feels insanely lightweight on the skin. Perfect for people with dry or oily skin! Another favourite of mine was the Benefit Such-A-Gorgeous Foundation which was absolutely amazing; again was really lightweight and so blendable and easy to apply.
BB Cream: And the winner is .. L'Oreal Magique BB Cream. When I first bought this and used it, I absolutely hated it. I thought there was no coverage compared to the Garnier BB Cream but as I started to use it more often, I really liked it! I think I expected too much which basically set me up for disappointment but after that, I just really like the lightweight feel of it and also the light coverage.
Primer: I bought the Hourglass Veil Primer (review here) late last year and is now one of my holy grail items insuring that my makeup stays in place and looks fabulous. I love the silky texture and the way my skin absorbs it. Although the price tag is ridiculous, I would buy it over and over again.

Powder: After purchasing the L'Oreal True Match Foundation, I decided to pick up the setting powder and let me tell you guys, as much as I love my MAC Studio Careblend Powder, I am so so so adoring this powder! It mattifies my face, locks in my base makeup and doesn't look cakey and best of all? The price point isn't NEARLY as crazy at MAC. I love both but this is the winner!
Blush: I couldn't narrow it down to just ONE blush so I chose two instead! My Benefit Coralista and Sleek Blush in the Face Form Kit. They are both coral/pinky blushes with gold shimmer and just add a fantastic glow to the cheeks. They're both pigmented and quite similar in the pan aswell. I suggest to anyone who is interested in purchasing Benefit's Coralista to take a look at Sleek's Face Form Kit as an alternative if you can't justify spending $52 on a blush! :)
Bronzer: And the winner goes to .. Too Face Chocolate Soleil in Milk Chocolate! I use this mostly for contouring as it doesn't contain any shimmer. I don't really have a bronzer that I like to dust all over so this will do .. for now! But really, I love this bronzer to bits, it has amazing pigmentation, smells exactly like chocolate and great for sculpting out the fine points on your face.
Highlighter: I adore the MAC Soft and Gentle Skinfinish, it is so beautiful and pigmented. A little really does go a long way and I reckon it suits any skin colour. I highly recommend it and if you don't have it yet, run to your closest MAC counter and see for yourself!
Eyeshadow palette: It's an oldie but a goodie .. the Naked 2 palette has won my heart throughout 2013. It just has so many shades which creates so many looks, I love the pigmentation of each eyeshadow and also the shade selection. A lot of people prefer the Naked 1 over this but I love this palette and will always continue to use it.
Pencil eyeliner: I would have to go with Rimmel's Scandaleyes in 001 Black! The colour is rich and really intense when applied and is also creamy, making it very easy to slide on. I use this to tightline my upper lash line and although there is VERY MILD smudging, nothing a Q-Tip couldn't fix!
Liquid eyeliner: My favourite would have been the MAC Studio Liquid Eyeliner but I lost it! So I am going with the Maybelline Master Precise eyeliner in Black! I love that this is in the form of a pen making it very easy to apply my eyeliner. It does smudge, just like the Rimmel eyeliner but I do carry a backup everywhere I go to touch up if I need to.
Brows: I would have to say the Sigma Brow Powder in Medium, it gives my brows a very natural look, I love how pigmented the product is and that it will in fact take me awhile to hit pan! It's affordable and I would recommend it.
Mascara: The Maybelline Colossal Volume Express (Cat Eyes) is definitely my 2013 favourite. It gives my lashes volume, length and keeps my curl nice and perky all day. I have it in the waterproof version and although it takes me forever to remove it, it's so worth it.
Lipstick: Again, I couldn't just choose one so I went with MAC Sheer Love and Revlon Lip Butter in Peach Parfait. I really love both these lippys and think of them as a MLBB and it's typically the two I gravitate towards when I don't know what to choose!
Nice picks! xx
