Tag: This or That?

Sunday, 28 April 2013

Hello again everyone! I haven't posted anything for a few days so I thought .. time for another make-up tag before my fashion haul! (Who doesn't love a tag?)

Let's begin shall we?
  1. Blush or bronzer?
Totally a blush girl, but I've recently been enjoying my bronzer as well! Especially when I apply my Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer, it smells just like cocoa powder. Yum!
  2. Lipgloss or lipstick?
Lipstick hands down! I feel like lipstick is much more flexible, easier to apply and have a better selection of colours. I have had many bad experienced with lipglosses because they're either too sticky, no colour payoff or just a pain in the butt to apply cause it gets all over the joint. No thanks.
  3. Lip butter or lip balm?
As of now, I'm definitely a lip butter chick because of the new Nivea Lip Butters. They're really nourishing and smell so so good, especially the 'Caramel Cream' one. Mmm.
  4. Matte or sparkle eyeshadow?
I prefer matte but alittle sparkle here and there for special occasions doesn't hurt hehe.
  5. Foundation or concealer?
For everyday I prefer concealer. I've been using Revlon's Photoready Concealer to cover up any undereye circles or redness and it does the trick. But for occasions where I'm heading out for dinner or clubs, I usually wear foundation to give more coverage.
  6. Eyeliner or mascara?
I'm more of an eyeliner person. I love the look of a sexy cat eye or even just a simple liner, it all looks great to me. It accentuates the eye more than mascara does which is probably the main reason why I like eyeliner better.
  7. Loose powder or pressed powder?
Pressed powder because it doesn't fly everywhere and is easier for me to throw in my bag and head out.
  8. Brushes, sponges or fingers?
BB Cream and Concealer? Fingers. But anything else like Foundation or Eyeshadow, definitely brushes. I like have clean hands when I'm applying makeup so no germs or whatever can harm my skin since I have sensitive skin.
  9. Waterproof or non-waterproof?
You know what? I have no idea, leaning more towards non-waterproof because it doesn't make my lashes look like tiny spider legs and is much easier to remove. Even though waterproof lasts longer and stuff, I could always just apply fake lashes on top! Hehehehehe.
Hope you guys enjoyed another tag, I tag YOU to do it too!

Until next time, xx

Haul: L'Oréal, Maybelline, Rimmel and Nude by Nature

Wednesday, 24 April 2013

Hi bloggers! How are we all? I've been doing some shopping lately and came across a massive sale at Priceline! It was a 40% off sale and I was literally freaking out cause everyone knows how expensive makeup (and a lot of other things) is here in Australia compared to the United States. Seizing this opportunity, I went on a little hunt for products that I was interested in using.

I know I didn't need ANY of these things but I couldn't pass up this deal knowing that it comes so rarely so please don't judge me guys! (I'll making a fashion haul soon as well because .. I bought so much and I have to share with you guys )

Tag: Get To Know .. Yours Truly!

Tuesday, 16 April 2013

Welcome back loves, today I'll be doing my first TAG! I love watching and reading tags, especially if they're fun and informative at the same time. I love watching Miss Glamorazzi and From Head To Toe because they do amazing tags and they also make amazing videos ranging from reviews, hauls and make-up tutorials so definitely check them out if you haven't already!

Haul: Rimmel, Sukin, Nivea and Covergirl

Welcome back to Haus of Makeup!
I did a little bit of shopping today with my friend, Nhi Archibald (check out her blog!) and picked up a few things through .. impulse haha. They're definitely not things I need right now but it's good to have back-up of things, especially if the product is on sale. True?!

Left to right: Nivea Lip Butter (Unscented), Sukin Hydrating Mist Toner, Covergirl Clump Crusher and Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation.

Review: Maybelline Colour Sensational Vivid Lipsticks

Wednesday, 10 April 2013

First makeup post! So today I will be doing a review on the new (well, new to Australia) Maybelline Colour Sensational Vivid Lipsticks. They're called "Vivids" because of their amazing colour selection, ranging from bright, barbie, pastel pinks to neon oranges to vibrant plums. I'm sure that most of you have seen these at your local Priceline, Target, Big W, etc. I recently picked mine up from Chemist Warehouse for the best bargain ever!

These "Vivid" lipsticks are originally $16.95 but I got them for $8 which is great. I picked up "Shocking Coral", "Hot Plum" and "Vivid Rose"; the first moment I swatched them, I fell in love! They are so pigmented yet moisturizing at the same time. I wouldn't say that they have a most amazing staying power ever, but for the price I got them at, it does the job.

First Post!

Hi everyone,
It's been a very long time since I have blogged about something so I thought; why not get back into it?
I won't say much but I wanted to say I hope my future followers (if any) enjoy this blog.

Until next time, xx
